A sneak peak at: Thermal Control and Retention

Hey guys,
okay so following Ashley's movement..
I will be researching Wood Ants which act as live heaters by basking in the sun and capturing heat energy collected in their bodies and bringing the extra warmth into the nest.

This will be in relation to the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal. (designed by KPMB/FSA)

The building has an innovative solar wall that collects the heat built up at the back of the photovoltaic modules and directs it to the building's HVAC ventilation system. During the winter, on sunny days the air in the solar collector can be heated to around 20°C and if required, the air is further heated for supply to the building spaces.

The collector delivers an added bonus: by drawing off warm air and cooling the photovoltaic panels, it increases the PV panel's electrical performance by up to 10% on cold sunny days.

That's it for now I guess...still on my ways of choosing a Nevada Building!
