I've decided to explore alternative "stomata" designs by looking at the mechanics and structure of the hand. The tendons, ligaments, bone and muscle all work in tandem to produce the fluid opening and closing movement commonly seen in nature. This opening and closing would simulate the induced micro-climatic changes in a leaf by stomata.
